Mountain Lion Claw Pendant - Bronze, Copper, & Sterling Silver
The most widespread great cat of New World, Puma concolor, is endowed with some pretty serious hardware, used both for securing prey, and climbing trees. They range from Alaska to Tierra Del Fuego, and from the Pacific to the Atlantic ocean. These metal replicas are sized down about 30% from the real thing, for ease of wearing, and are no less impressive for it.
These kitties are small batch cast with repurposed metals, and hung on either US sourced, open length dark oil deerhide lace or an 18" cord, and may be tied at various lengths for your convenience.
All pieces bear the Greylock Silver maker's mark on the back, and sterling silver version also bears the 925 sterling metal assay.
The master copy for this piece was created in fine silver, which itself was originally cast from a salvaged roadkill from the 70ies, so no harm was done in order to bring you this magnificent piece of natural history.
