Peruvian opal pendant
A beautiful, raindrop shaped Peruvian (or Andean) blue Opal, set in sterling silver, with solid 22k gold droplet accents. Price reduced because of Covid.
This opal has just a few black and gold dendrite flecks.
Peruvian opal is one of the rarer opals out there, and while they do not exhibit any iridescence, their semi-transparent glacial depths make them sought after collector’s stones. As it’s name suggests, these unusual opals are found exclusively high up in the Peruvian Andes.
This stone has been stored dry, at room temperature for at least 1 year (always ask about this when purchasing Peruvian opals)
.8” long, on a 18” sterling silver chain. Protect this stone from abrasion, extreme temperatures, and from any falls or strikes against hard surfaces.
Polish as needed, with the proprietary polishing cloth provided.
